Health & Wellness in Torrance, CA
Feeling strong, healthy and confident in your skin is part of women's health. Medical weight loss, peptide therapy, whole-body EMS training, Botox and Morpheus8, all guided by Dr. Abigail Prushansky, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, CNM, who looks at your whole health, not just one goal.
Medical weight loss
A medically supervised plan built around your health, hormones and life stage. Weight changes during perimenopause and menopause are common, and they often need a different approach than diet advice alone. Your plan may include:
A full health review and lab work to look for causes such as thyroid problems or insulin resistance
FDA-approved weight-loss medications, such as GLP-1 medications, when they're safe and appropriate for you
Nutrition, strength and sleep guidance that fits your schedule
Regular check-ins to track progress and adjust your plan
Peptide therapy
Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as signals in the body. Interest in peptide therapy has grown quickly, and so has confusion about what's safe and legal. Dr. Abigail reviews your goals and health history, explains what is and isn't supported by evidence, and recommends only options that are appropriate and legally available.
Whole-body EMS training
Our miha bodytec II system is FDA-cleared to stimulate muscles to improve muscle performance, re-educate muscles, relax muscle spasm, and help prevent muscle loss from inactivity. You wear a special suit with electrodes while doing simple bodyweight movements, and electrical impulses make your muscles work harder. Sessions take about 20 minutes, once a week, with one-on-one supervision. It's gentle on the joints and a good option if regular workouts are hard to fit in or tough on your body. For adults 21 and older. More about EMS →
Botox
Botox and similar neuromodulators soften frown lines, forehead lines and crow's feet for a refreshed, natural look. Treatment takes about 15 minutes, with little to no downtime. Results typically appear within one to two weeks and last a few months.
Morpheus8 face and body
Morpheus8 combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy and is FDA-cleared for dermatologic procedures where soft tissue coagulation or contraction is needed. It's used to improve skin texture and firmness on the face, neck and body, and on the face to improve the look of acne scarring. Numbing is used for comfort, downtime is typically short, and most people need a series of treatments. More about Morpheus8 →
